REGISTERED BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN
Mid-State Special Education is seeking qualified candidates for a Registered Behavior Technician opening for the 2024-2025 school year. Training to earn the RBT certification will be provided. Full-time applicants are encouraged to apply. Qualifications:
High School diploma or its equivalent with an associate degree or additional training preferred; experience working with students who have low incidence disabilities and behavior challenges
RBT Certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board or willingness to obtain
Understanding of autism, experience implementing discrete trial instruction, systematic instruction, and behavioral interventions and strategies
Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and time management skills with the ability and willingness to collaborate with school personnel to promote student learning
Possess a valid driver’s license and maintain automotive insurance coverage as required by IL law
Terms of Employment: Full-Time Permanent – 185 Day Position
