REGISTERED BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN

Mid-State Special Education is seeking qualified candidates for a Registered Behavior Technician opening for the 2024-2025 school year. Training to earn the RBT certification will be provided. Full-time applicants are encouraged to apply. Qualifications:

 High School diploma or its equivalent with an associate degree or additional training preferred; experience working with students who have low incidence disabilities and behavior challenges

 RBT Certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board or willingness to obtain

 Understanding of autism, experience implementing discrete trial instruction, systematic instruction, and behavioral interventions and strategies

 Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and time management skills with the ability and willingness to collaborate with school personnel to promote student learning

 Possess a valid driver’s license and maintain automotive insurance coverage as required by IL law

 

Terms of Employment: Full-Time Permanent – 185 Day Position

Start Date August 2024

Salary: Regionally Competitive
