Explore how 3D printing can transform learning across all subject areas in this hands-on workshop designed for educators of all grade levels and content areas. Participants will discover practical ways to integrate 3D printing into lessons to deepen student understanding, spark creativity, and support problem-solving.
From science and engineering prototypes to historical artifacts, mathematical models, and literary scene design, educators will learn how 3D printing can make abstract concepts tangible and engaging for students. The session will highlight classroom-ready examples, design tools, and strategies that align with curriculum standards while encouraging student innovation.
Whether you are new to 3D printing or looking to expand how you use it in your classroom, this workshop will provide ideas, resources, and inspiration to help students design, create, and learn in meaningful ways. Participants will leave with cross-curricular lesson ideas and practical strategies to implement 3D printing in their own classrooms.
This training will be held on June 2, 2026 from 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. at the ROE #3 Professional Development Center. Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. The cost to attend this workshop is $75/person. Snack/drinks will be provided. Each participant will receive 3.0 PD hours.
