McKinney-Vento School Nurse Training (AM or PM Sessions Available))

This training will feature a McKinney-Vento Homeless Education presentation led by your Regional Homeless Liaison. There will also be a roundtable discussion where nurses can discuss common issues and best practices. In addition, staff can:
- Submit receipts for the nurse's homeless voucher funding.
- Brainstorm additional spending options before the end date of 3/15/25.
Each attendee will receive head lice supplies as part of the session.
Who Should Attend:
All nurses and substitute nurses in your district are encouraged to attend. Multiple participants from the same district are welcome.
This training will be held on March 12, 2025 at the ROE #3 Professional Development Center. There will be two time slots available for you to choose from. The AM session will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. with registration beginning at 8:30 a.m. and the PM session will be held from 1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. with registration beginning at 12:30 p.m. The cost to attend this session is $15/participant and drink/snacks will be provided at each session. Each participant will receive 1.5 PD hours.
